Arrive in Hanoi and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel for check in and time to relax.
In the evening, discover the energy and flavors of the Old Quarter with a 45 minute cyclo ride, followed by a guided Hanoi street food walking tour. Visit Dong Xuan Market, sample local favorites including Bun Cha and Banh Cuon, enjoy traditional barbecue bites and a local dessert, then end the evening at the iconic Hanoi Train Street with a refreshing drink.

Preliminary itinerary based on the Capella Cruise program. Activities and timings may vary depending on the selected cruise, weather, and operating conditions.
Depart Hanoi in the morning with a private transfer to Tuan Chau Marina. Upon arrival, complete check in before taking a speedboat transfer to Capella Cruise, where you’ll be welcomed onboard and settle into your cabin.
Enjoy lunch as you sail through the breathtaking limestone landscapes of Lan Ha Bay. Spend the afternoon enjoying onboard and water activities, including kayaking, swimming, the Oasis Pool, and water slide.
As the sun begins to set, unwind on deck with light snacks and Happy Hour, followed by an interactive Vietnamese cooking class with the cruise chef. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the onboard restaurant before spending the rest of the night at leisure with activities such as a movie with popcorn, karaoke, squid fishing, or the Cigar & Poker Club.

Begin your morning surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Lan Ha Bay with an optional sunrise Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by a light breakfast onboard.
Continue to the beautiful Dark and Bright Cave, where you’ll explore the limestone formations and tranquil waters of the bay by traditional rowboat or option to kayak. Return to the cruise for some time to relax before checking out and enjoying a leisurely brunch onboard.
Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina and transfer back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon and evening at leisure.
For a relaxed afternoon, Armaan recommend visiting The Note Coffee, a charming and colorful Hanoi café known for the thousands of handwritten notes covering its walls.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel followed by a free and easy morning in Hanoi. Take some time to relax, enjoy a final coffee, shop for souvenirs, or explore the surrounding neighborhood at your own pace.
At the appropriate time, check out and meet your driver for your private transfer to Hanoi International Airport for your onward flight.

Optional Tour: Hanoi | Incense Village | Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu & Tam Coc | Hanoi
In the morning
• Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
• 8:00 AM: Depart for Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, a charming traditional village with more than 100 years of incense making history. The journey from Hanoi takes approximately 1.5 hours.
• Upon arrival, discover courtyards filled with vibrant bundles of incense sticks beautifully arranged under the sun. Meet local artisans and learn about the traditional process, from cutting bamboo and preparing the fragrant incense paste to coloring and drying each stick.
• Take time to capture beautiful photos among the colorful incense displays, one of the village’s most iconic sights.
• Continue your journey to Ninh Binh, approximately 2 hours away.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your exploration.
In the afternoon
• 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM: Embark on a peaceful traditional rowboat journey along the Ngo Dong River through Tam Coc. Cruise between lush rice fields, caves, and towering limestone karsts that have earned this spectacular region the nickname “Ha Long Bay on land.”
• 4:30 PM: Begin your journey back to Hanoi.
• 7:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

As U.S. citizens are required to obtain a visa to enter Vietnam. The most convenient option is the Vietnam e-Visa which is already included in your package.
🛂 Passport Validity
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Vietnam.
Ensure your passport has at least one blank visa page for the entry stamp.
💉 Vaccinations
No vaccinations are required for entry into Vietnam.
💰 Currency Declarations
If you are carrying Vietnamese Dong exceeding VND 15,000,000 or foreign currency exceeding USD 5,000, you must declare it upon entry.
🛃 Customs and Entry
Be prepared to present your printed e-Visa approval letter upon arrival
Ensure that all information on your e-Visa matches your passport details exactly to avoid any issues at immigration.

Pleasant and mild, with comfortable daytime temperatures around 23 to 26°C and cooler evenings around 16 to 19°C. Late November is one of the drier periods in northern Vietnam, making it a lovely time to explore Hanoi and cruise through Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay.
